When nurse Sara Peters treats celebrity billionaire Trenton Merrick for a mysterious injury to his forehead, she is blindsided by what follows a passionate exchange in the examination room and an invitation to Trenton's house for dinner.

Trenton spins a web of deceit and seduction around Sara that both repels and attracts her. One part humanitarian, the other international financial mogul, his personal and professional lives are a curious contradiction. As Sara journeys deeper into her feelings for Trenton and begins unraveling the mystery behind his injury, she finds herself embroiled in a game of trust and betrayal, where the odds are stacked in Trenton's favor and the outcome for the loser is too terrifying to conceive.

BONUS CONTENT includes four short stories written exclusively for this release.

"Pleasant But Not Nice" takes a closer look at the friendship between Kelly Sheridan and Denim Jacobson prior to Sara Peters' arrival in New York.

"The Five Rs" accompanies Sean Mavis and Christopher Maida on a stakeout and reveals their initial impressions of Kelly and Denim.

"Dust" is an intimate look at Trenton Merrick's relief efforts in Haiti days after the devastating earthquake.

"The Celibate Spy" transports us back to 1969 when Randall Wolverhampton takes on his first mission as a junior agent in MI6, Britain's foreign intelligence agency.

ER Nurse Sara had no idea that the night she helped treat billionaire Trenton Merrick, it was going to change her life. He pursued her from the moment he laid eyes on her. Sara fought him every step of the way. She'd get closer to Trent and then she'd discover another secret. A secret he wouldn't/couldn't explain. In the end, it was all to protect Sara from a danger she didn't even know existed.

I adored Trent. He's such a sweet man. He could come across one minute as protective and fierce, and then the next minute, he'd be innocent and charming. Trent went over and above trying to impress Sara. In my eyes, Trent could do no wrong.

Sara...hum. I tried to like and form a connection with her, but unfortunately that never happened. She was annoying. She threw every single bit of kindness back into Trent's face. There are a number of twists and turns, so I don't want to spoil anything by providing examples, I just honestly couldn't connect with Sara. You may, so please don't let my negative opinion of her effect you. Just be warned. She's one of those that pushes when pulled and does it every time. Instead of asking Trent a question about something she wanted to know, she assumed the worst. Again, it was every single time. She does eventually tealize this and even apologizes, but at that point, I was already done with her character and struggling to understand why Trent was so enamored by her.

Overall however I liked the book. There are several very short stories added at the end of Trent, his bodyguards and Sara's friends.

Frontline edition by Alexandra Richland Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Alexandra Richland did it again, this story is awesome! The mystery, the romance it all merges in a great new way of writting. Who is Trenton Merrick? well you will try to figure it out since the beginning of the story, what you will slowly uncover will nwver be what you expected, this story will just keep you at the edge of your seat. Are you ready to take the ride of a lifetime? This book will certainly be somethin you'll remember and want to re-read again. Take that from someone who has already read it more times than you expect, as I've been trully honored to be able to help the author to get this book published and designing the cover, which I'm sure you will all love it once it's revealed. Just trust me on this and read the book, you will never regret it and in fact will be looking forward for the sequel!
OH.EM.GEE! Trenton Merrick is effin' hawt!

Honestly, when I randomly chosen this book to me by next read I wasn't really expecting so much about it. I was thinking that it's another guy-billionaire-fall-in-love-with-an-ordinary-girl plot but damn, I thought wrong. Frontline is more than just a romance novel, it's also action-packed with a lot of twists that would keep you edgy and captivated the entire time.

When Sara attended to an injured Trenton Merrick, her life has never been the same. She just recently moved to New York from California and works as a nurse in Manhattan General Hospital, living a simple life and trying to make ends meet with her small salary. But after that one fateful night, when Sara met Trenton - deliciously hot & gorgeous billionaire, philanthropist and every girl's fantasy, her life has changed tremendously. Trenton's controlling and over-protective ways might be over-the-top sometimes but I find it cute and endearing. He just really wanted the best for Sara. The things that Sara did to loosen up Trenton were so funny. Their witty banters cracked me up and their chemistry was off the charts. I love them. They're perfectly fit for each other.

The author did a great job with this book. It is well paced with solid plot, outstanding dialogues and great supporting characters. I really, really enjoyed this book. Denim, Kelly, Sean & Chris made this story more interesting. A very gratifying read. This kept me awake until 2am because I just couldn't put it down. Awesomesauce.

I loved the ending. It's a happy for now yet I still loved it. I found out that this is the first book of the series and I can't wait. I want more of Trenton & Sara.

Frontline has all the elements of a perfect romantic story worthy to be read by any romance junkie like me. If you want a story that would keep you guessing all the time, then this is perfect for you. I've just added this to my favorite shelf.

Unique. Action Packed. Unpredictable. Funny. Steamy. Romantic.
When I first heard about this book, I was very eager to pick it up for 3 main reasons 1) The main character is a nurse. 2) The author is a nurse and 3) The amazing book trailer! After reading the synopsis I was expecting a traditional Billionaire meets working girl, he chases her, seduces her and wins her over. Yes some part of that was true about this book, but what I was not expecting was an amazing action-filled, thrilling, and suspenseful story line to also be thrown into the mix!

First of let me just say, that I am hoping my future job after I graduate in December be in the type of hospital where a man like Trenton Merrick becomes my patient. I absolutely enjoyed reading the first few chapters where Sara is at work in ER going through triage. As a nursing student, I appreciated all the details that the author threw in there.

Okay, so I have to admit that the entire love affair between the two main characters was a little far-fetched and falls into the category of "Insta-love." But I did find myself swooning over some very sweet moments between Trenton and Sara. Trenton is however a little too uptight and controlling over Sarah. He could probably even give Christen Grey a few lessons. But in the end we find out why he was so protective and things started to make sense. There was a reason after all his crazy madness.

The supporting characters or this story were also very enjoyable. I loved seeing Sara's friends stick up for their friend, in both of there own quirky yet endearing ways. I do believe the future books in this series will be about them and I am looking forward to finding out more about them and their love stories.
